FABRIC COLLECTION

 

The FABRIC COLLECTION is made out of High Strength Transparent Nylon Copper Fabric. Working with the local weavers, Elaine Ng Yan Ling took an unconventional approach to these iconic materials. Replacing the warp with transparent and high strength nylon, whilst maintaining the four-part repeating pattern, creates new flavours of fabric unlike anything they’ve previously made. Bright metallic yarns criss-crosses the fabric to create a shimmering decorative surface reminiscent of the metalwork usually employed in the trim.

 

THE FABRIC COLLECTION is a sculpt-able fabric collection, the fabric can take shape easily as if it were paper.
