A Stitch in Time Saves Nine: The Fabrick Lab at Guizhou is one of the 5 projects that showcases as part of the “Tasting Guizhou – World Design in South East Guizhou” exhibtion. Working with the local weavers Elaine Ng Yan Ling took an unconventional approach to the iconic materials. Replacing the warp with transparent and high strength nylon, whlist main the four-part repeating pattern, creates new flavours of fabric unlike anything they have previously made.
